Is the NerdQaxe++ just a bigger Bitaxe?+
Pretty much, and that's the appeal. It runs four BM1370 chips instead of one on the same open AxeOS firmware, so you get roughly four times the hashrate with the same familiar interface and community behind it.
Can I power it over USB-C?+
No. At 76W it needs a 12V DC power brick. The USB-C port is there for data and debugging, not for running the board.
Does more hashrate mean I'll finally profit?+
